Rocester Reserves 1 Long Eaton United Res 0

The reserve team friendly against Long Eaton on Tuesday evening produced a narrow win for Rocester.

The only goal of the game came very early in the second half, Adam McMahon glancing home a header from a free kick delivered from the left.

Rocester had been under pressure for most of the first half, but almost snatched the lead when Gavin Reynolds' well struck free kick from 20 yards out clipped the bar.

A more evenly contested second half saw Long Eaton also hit the bar, but they were unable to find an equaliser and McMahon's goal proved decisive in the end.
